Lydia Elise Millen-My Opinions

Over the past few years I have been reading blogs, watching influencers on youtube and keeping up with them on social media, and a few of the people I admire I have continued to watch them grow as a person and brand. One of my favourite bloggers/youtubers is Lydia Elise Millen. Lydia has changed  the way I look at the fashion industry and the way that I think about the blogging industry.

Lydia lives a life of luxury, she has a beautiful house, a lovely husband and a dream job but she has worked so hard to get where she is and that really inspires me. Her hard work has allowed her to create a self bilt empire that anyone would dream off. Her blog has posts about fashion, technology, health and wellbeing and lifestyle which is good because you don’t always get the same thing. Youtube is more relaxed, you can speak your mind and have more fun with what you post. Challenges, hauls, travelling and luxury product videos make up the most part of her youtube along with life updates and house tours.

Whether it’s travelling with her husband or brands we always get taken along to see what she gets up too. It’s fun to see what influencers do on a brand trip; we see the activities, food, and even the products they get gifted. Lydia’s latest brad trip was with  Laura Mercier where they went on a skiing trip. She took us with her and posted a ‘vlog’ on her youtube and multiple instagram stories and posts to keep her followers updated. Travel vlogs and blog posts are some of the best because they make you feel as if you went with her and they  make you want to be on holiday.

Blogging used to be her hobby to help get her through her last year of university and now 6 years down the line she has created so much. Collaborations with Net-a-porter one of the biggest online luxury fashion retailers and By Terry who she has been working with for years and they even did her wedding make up! Some of her recent signing are with Jaguar and Landrover where she is helped in their global launch of their new vehicle, she is a new member of the L’Oreal beauty squad. Collaborations on instagram have become very popular in the last few years with big brands working with influencers and celebrities. Lydia has worked with many brands but some of my favorites are Intimissimi which is an Italian lingerie brand, and imperial leather where she advertised their new foaming body wash. 

Lydia has come so far in the last 6 years and I’m so excited to see where she will be in the next 6.
